How to connect your Google My Business account with Listings

1.png

Google My Business provides you with the ability to list your business location on Google Maps and local search results. You can display important information about your business, including the opening/closing times, contact details, or a link to your website.

For us to be able to keep your location data updated, a Google My Business (GMB) profile needs to be created, verified, and connected to Listings.

What needs to happen next, depends on the current state of each/your location(’s) Google My Business profile. But don’t worry, we have compiled an overview for you covering all options. We will guide you step-by-step through the process.

When should I connect my Google account?

For any of the following cases:

  1. Creating and verifying a new Google My Business profile

  2. Verifying an existing Google My Business profile managed by you

  3. Connecting a Google My Business profile managed by you

  4. Connecting a verified Google My Business profile managed by someone else (requesting access)
Here we help you to connect your GMB account according to the situation.

Step 2: Start

If you wish to connect a Google My Business profile managed by someone else, please send them the link as displayed in the image.

They can then sign in to the respective Google account and confirm with a few clicks that the profile may be connected.

As soon as the owner/administrator has approved the account connection, the process is completed.

In case the profile is not verified yet, they can also start the verification process and follow the process as stated previously.
