Dashboard - Setting Up Your Review Sites

3.png

In this article, we will explain how you can set up your review sites by connecting all review sites that are relevant to your business.

Configuring your review sites is the first most crucial step for setting up your account. Your Reviews subscription allows you to select multiple platforms; however during onboarding some of your review sites have already automatically been added.

Make sure however to check for your business or venue on each of these sites; it may be that you are not active on a site, but that there is an online conversation surrounding your location. You can find valuable consumer reviews that may otherwise not come to your attention.
Below you'll find a description for each site on how to extract the correct URL that you will need to fill out either on the Onboarding or Settings tab. Locate, Copy and Paste the full URL including the https:// part into your Reviews on-boarding page.

Google

Just type the name of your establishment and the city it is located in Google Search and copy the URL from the Google Maps section. For an example click here

If you encounter issues with the synchronisation using the URL above, please try the following method. To come up with a working URL, you can use the following two methods:

  1. Look up your working URL with a Google Review Link generator
Through the link below, you can easily generate the review link for your business Google page, which goes in the dashboard when you are setting up your Reviews websites.
    https://reviewsonmywebsite.com/google-review-link-generator
  2. Look up your Google CID with a hexadecimal converter
    - Locate the Google Business Profile listing in Google Maps and select it, to view the relative URL in the top bar, like for example https://www.google.com/maps/place/SO+Connect/@52.3653926,4.881401,21z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x47c609c669e5ce07:0x6cbe9865f48e3700!8m2!3d52.3654351!4d4.8812821
    - Find the second string that starts from 0x (the one that ends with an exclamation mark “!” / see it highlighted below for reference).
    https://www.google.com/maps/place/SO+Connect/@52.3653926,4.881401,21z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x47c609c669e5ce07:0x6cbe9865f48e3700!8m2!3d52.3654351!4d4.8812821
    - Use this hexadecimal converter to turn the code (6cbe9865f48e3700) into the related Google CID.
    - Add the Google CID (e.g. 7835867965333321472) to the base URL, as follows:
    https://maps.google.com/?cid=7835867965333321472

  3. Look up your working URL with a Google CID converter
    - Copy-paste the Maps URL and use it in this Google CID converter to Convert and generate the Google CID.
    - Find the generated CID decimal (e.g. 7835867965333321472) and the related URL to Google Maps, which will look like this:
