Inside the Results tab of your Location, you will have an overview of your business' online visibility and performance over time. A lot of different metrics will help you evaluate the discoverability of your business on Google, and Facebook. But what is the exact meaning behind these metrics?
Customer Views
Customer views represent the total number of times your listing was viewed on Google over a certain time span. They are divided between:
Views on Google Maps
which are the number of times the listing was viewed on Google Maps.
Views on Google Search
which are the number of times the listing was viewed on Google Search.
Customer actions
Customer actions count for all the times users took action after finding your listing on Google. It is the total amount of times when:
- Phone number was clicked
- Driving directions were requested
- Website was clicked
Photo views
Photo views are the number of times your listing's photos were viewed by users, split between the pictures that were uploaded by the business owner and the ones that were uploaded by visitors, shown as:
- Views on media from the merchant
- Views on media from the customers
Facebook stats
There are two types of metrics coming from Facebook:
Page impressions
which are the number of times any content from/about your page appeared on a user's screen including posts, ads, users' interactions and more.
Page clicks
which are the number of times users clicked on any type of content you have published on your Facebook page.
How customers search for your business
Total searches are counted when a business page ends in the search results, coming from any types of keywords that lead to your online presence. Therefore, these are divided between:
Direct
which are the number of times your listing appeared when users searched for your business name and/or address.
Discovery
which are the number of times your listing appeared when users searched for a business category (such as "restaurant").
Branded
which are the number of times your listing appeared when users searched for a specific brand your business is tied to.
What other people say about your business
This widget shows your listing's average rating coming from users' feedback on your Google business page on top, while below you can find the last five Google reviews that were published on your page.
